If you carry an old '.com' link to this site. please update your links to the new address of www.Reef-Eden.net This site is designed to be viewed at a resolution of 1024x768 or higher. I have now separated the main tank sections into two separate areas. Firstly, the original Reef-Eden 200gallon system you were all so acquainted with, under the heading '2003 reef'. And a second section '2006 Reef' that covers the 18 month build of a 490gallon in wall tank and wet room system with remote tower sump. The new 490 gallon reef, as of February 2008. Settling down nicely. lots of space to fill, but getting there. --------- As usual, I've pulled out several 'key' aspects into separate 'more in-depth' sections within the 'DIY Projects' area Which I will expand on as things progress throughout 2006/2007/2008..This is already kicked off with a new section on 'DIY Live rock' and an ongoing page covering the build of a new Calcium reactor. ---------- The H&T section has now been renamed 'Theory and Practice' in which there is a new section on 'Lighting'. as well as an in-depth view of 'Ozone in the reef aquarium', a long awaited article on the use of 'Iodine' in the marine aquarium, especially interesting in relation to SPS corals and unexplained mass colony collapses or decline. And a new links page with tons of info relating to chemistry, and water quality, called 'Advanced Chemistry' ---------- The Photo galleries have been updated with loads of new shots including some macro and wild images. ----------- On top of that, there is also two 'Brand New' new sections. 'Recommended Dealers' and 'Recommended Products' . In the 'Recommended Dealers' section, you'll find dealers that I'm happy to recommend as surpassing themselves when it comes to all things reef related. At this time, I have 'Sevenoaks Tropical's and Marines' (STM) leading the way, and I hope to include many more as time passes. In the 'Recommended Products' area. You'll find product reviews on some of my favourite reefing essentials be they equipment, foods, additives, or just gimmicks. You'll find also included, products that although I haven't tested 'personally', I am well acquainted with over some time by way of other associated hobbyists who may have been so impressed, that I felt it deserved a mention as well..
