I would always say to anybody wishing to attempt a bit of DIY. 'Go for it' as long as you don't risk your own or anybody else's safety in the process. If you aren't sure what your dealing with, then it would be better to get professional help. even if its just to verify your thoughts and ideas prior to starting out.......the rewards can be great, not just in satisfaction, but financially as well. It is fair to say that whilst manufacturers of some equipment have a very good idea of what we want. Others are still, well short of the mark. I like to think of DIY, as an attempt at making or improving on something that the big manufacturer either cant cover in an individual way, 'or' has done so, but to an inadequate standard that needs adapting or improving, to meet your 'individual' needs. In this section you'll find several DIY projects. Many of them my own. you will also find links to other DIY sites that I feel have been most inspirational. Although the term DIY signifies a distinctly personal goal or way of doing things. I have tried to make these pages as detailed as possible, so that, whilst not all facts and figures may be appropriate to your needs', many are easily adaptable depending on what you are trying to achieve. Have FUN !!!
